This is an important and close election. Tomorrow is election day and I am writing to ask for your support. Four years ago, you elected me to take Corrales in a fresh new direction, and with your help we did just that. We planted a lot of seeds in the last four years and now we need to let them grow. Let’s not go back.

We have restored the financial strength and viability of our Village. We have more cash, less debt, and clean audits. We have an effective and efficient Government that operates within its means, and spends capital sensibly based on community priorities. We have competitive, stable, and strong public safety departments and historic low crime rates. We have modernized our online systems and made information more available and accessible than ever. The Planning and Zoning department has been reorganized, expanded, and modernized to provide better service, more consistent information, and to ensure code compliance. As a result, we have a vibrant and growing business community with many new members. We have a safer, more accessible Bosque and a formal Trails Plan with MRGCD.

We have created the most open and effective Corrales government in my lifetime, but you have spoken, and you want more. You want more financial strength. You want more openness and accessibility. You want better planning and zoning services. I am listening, and I will deliver.

You have choices in this election, but only one choice with a proven track record of management success, and only one you can count on to balance interests and get the right things done. There is only one choice that offers proven effective leadership with no ties to radical interest groups like the Sierra Club. There is only one choice who will work for you and with you, out in our Community, not around the water cooler. I am the only choice for Mayor that you can count on to deliver what you expect.
